Woogie Wins At Festival Of Surfing

Woogie blows the field away winning the Le Monde Open Ocean Stand Up Paddle event in the Festival of Surfing. In rough, windy, testing conditions Woogie dominated the 22km paddle race from Coolum Beach to Main Beach, Noosa on Saturday. The 16ft Open Ocean 'Penetrator' seemed to have far superior hull design, coupled with Woogie's amazing paddle technique pushed him to the finish line well in front of second place.

We would like to give special thanks to Mark from Sun Coast Valuers for his support and Stu Campbell for his outstanding dedication and wealth of experience he brings to the already amazing Laguna Bay Team. Also Panga Productions for capturing some amazing footage of not only the race but also the birth of the 'Penetrator', which we will be bringing to you soon.
